Forge a Ladder Damascus Billet!

Come forge a Ladder Damascus billet that you will get to take home!

We're only forging the billet in this class, not a full knife. The image is to show you what a finished knife could look like!

We'll start by welding up a billet of 1084 and 15n20 steel, putting it into the forge, and squishing it with our 25Ton hydraulic press! We'll draw it out, carve in the lines that cause the 'ladder' design, and then re-squish it to get a billet that you can bring home and work into 2-3 fantastic knives!

Tools we'll use:

• Forge

• Hydraulic Press

• MIG Welder

• Grinder

Skills you need:

• None! I can help you with the welding and use of the hydraulic press to ensure we're being safe and effective, and can even help with the grinding if you'd like.

We're here to have a good time and learn some skills, and ensure you have a really nice billet to take home!
